Aorta is the photography duo Marco Grizelj & Kristian Krän based in Gothenburg. They joined forces at the School of Photography at Gothenburg University. They graduated in 1997 and for the following five years they worked almost exclusively with foreign clients. During a part of that period, they were based in Paris. Aorta’s signature work is semi-documentary fashion photography, where their work is both in-artificial and imaginative. The duo likes to see things cinematically and their photographs are often shot on location.
